Mantra

What is Mantra
Mantras are sacred sounds or words that contain divine energy or spiritual energy. These incantations are special utterances as they are the embodiment of divine vibrations. Master Choa Kok Sui stresses on the importance and the innate power of various mantras.

The Power of Om

"Om”, "Amin" and "Amen" are all sacred universal sounds and are primitive in nature. It is interesting to note how similar they all are in sound and in their basic implications though they are used in different religions. These mantras seek to merge your individual consciousness with the Divine Consciousness. The energy generated through these chants help to disintegrate diseased and negative energies in the meditator as well as in the environment. The cleansing and energizing properties of the Om mantra and the sacred words of Amen and Amin help in de-stressing, elevating the consciousness and creating a spiritual environment that is clean and pure.

Om Mani Padme Hum

"Om Mani Padme Hum" is a very powerful mantra that is filled with immense Love, Mercy and Compassion. Master Choa Kok has unveiled the deeper meaning of this prayer and has explained the benefits and applications of this simple yet potent mantra. From his book, Om Mani Padme Hum, you can gain insight into the process of achieving yoga, or Union with the Higher Soul. The location of the Blue Pearl or the seed of consciousness is revealed in this book along with the deeper significance of being born of the Lotus Flower.

Om Namah Shivaya

"Om Namah Shivaya" literally translates into I bow to Shiva; I bow to the Inner Self. Being repeated 108 times is believed to guide the gradual purification of every element in your body. This is a strong chant with the power to bestow upon you not only worldly or materialistic fulfillment but also spiritual realization. Shiva is an epitome of the Divine Consciousness, the Inner Self and this mantra seeks to invoke your Inner Self.

Gayatri Mantra

The lyrics of the Gayatri Mantra were selected and arranged by Rishis or enlightened sages in such a way that they not only convey meaning but also give birth to a certain power of righteous knowledge through their verbalization. The Gayatri Mantra's meaning is much deeper than it seems to be. It is one of the most sacred chants in Hinduism. The Gayatri is regarded as a Divine activation of the mind and the soul. It is believed to open up a pathway to the ultimate form of existence and the Union with the Brahman. The very essence of the Gayatri Mantra is to attain oneness with the Supreme Divinity and ushers in tremendous amounts of energy into the person chanting the mantra.

Immortality: Myth or Reality?

“The soul never takes birth and never dies at any time nor does it come into being again when the body is created. The soul is birth less, eternal, imperishable and timeless and is never destroyed when the body is destroyed.”  -The Bhagavad Gita   Is immortality simply a far-fetched concept? Mankind’s feeble attempt at defying and defeating Death? How could all religious texts, all spiritual gurus and all the great ones provide vehement assurance for the concept of immortality if it was nothing more than a pleasant lie to sugar-coat the bitter truth of death? Is there a greater immortality than being remembered for one’s deeds and living on in the memories of others? Is there really a  life after death ?  Many have been driven by this strong need to conquer death. It was in the quest to attain immortality that the Chinese king, Qin Shi Huang, took mercury capsules. As fate would have it, these mercury pills resulted in his death instead of gaining him i...

Four Techniques to Survive Your day

“FOUR TECHNIQUES TO SURVIVE YOUR DAY” As we well know, modern life is getting ever more packed with work, family, social responsibilities, and more.  One hundred years ago, single-tasking was probably all there was.  We didn’t have a phone ringing just as we were changing lanes on a busy highway or work message alerts going off at home while squeezing shoes on our kids. Working too much and being busy morning till night can take a toll on multiple levels and even amount to a serious health condition down the line.  We say we should therefore re-organize our schedules and decline commitments or additional responsibilities to stay healthy.  We may even go for a career change or move to a town with a slower pace of life. But what if we could accomplish all we are currently committed to–or more–with a genuine smile on our faces and plenty of energy till 10:00 at night? Some of us can’t change our jobs or schedules–or we love what we are doing and don’t wan...
